Google Arts and Culture is an incredible and under-utilised (in my opinion) app. There are so many incredible teaching resources under this umbrella. There are regular updates too, so it always remains fresh and exciting. Have a look at this slideshow and explore some of the finest features that Arts & Culture have to offer.

Google Screencast
Google Screencast is not only an amazing screen capture tool but it also has the ability to annotate and translate your transcripts - a super tool for EAL students and thier families.
All you need to know about Screencast can be found here thanks to Eric Curts. The video to the left will also give you a quick start guide.
By default students can unenroll themselves from your class in Google Classroom. This can often happen "accidentally"!!!
To avoid this, I suggest you change the default in the Google Admin settings so only a teacher can unenroll a student.
The video to the left and screenshots below show you how to do this in three easy steps.
In the Google Admin portal, click on Apps. Then scroll and click Classroom
Click on Student unenrollment
Select Teachers only and then (importantly) click save.
How to “Force” a Copy:
Sharing Trick for Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms, etc. Helps you maintain your own content - people you share with save their own copy to their own drive. This is really useful for when you're sharing templates or forms. It ensures your content stays intact while still being easily accessible to your audience.
This is a great tip for educators, team leaders, or anyone needing to share digital content without wanting it to be changed.
This always comes up for me. It is really useful to know how to do this if you are a Google Admin.
Teachers need to be added to the Classroom Teachers group or they will not be able to create a class in the Google Classroom app..
This happens frequently with new staff....
